Jean-Claude Blanc is one of Europe’s most experienced sports executives, with senior leadership roles across football, tennis, cycling and major global events. He is currently CEO of INEOS Sport, overseeing its global portfolio in football, Formula 1, cycling, sailing, rugby and running. Following INEOS Sport’s 25% acquisition of Manchester United in 2023, Blanc was appointed interim director and later took on a strategic role as head of international football relations and special advisor to the club’s board. He also serves on the EFC Board, UC3 Board and UEFA’s Club Competitions Board of Administration. Blanc’s career spans leadership positions at Juventus FC and Paris Saint-Germain, where he oversaw stadium development, commercial growth and international strategy. Earlier in his career, he directed the French Tennis Association, managed the French Open and Davis Cup events, and held senior roles in the Tour de France, Paris-Dakar and the Winter Olympics. Blanc holds an International Business and Marketing degree from Skema Business School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
